In Japan Mighty Crown is a movement and the name is synonymous with Reggae/Dancehall music, and success. And with each concert and Sound clash victory, the Japanese group continues to grow in popularity wherever and whenever they perform around the world.
In existence since 1991, it was their recent World Clash victory which cemented Mighty Crown's place in the world of Reggae/Dancehall, and world-wide popularity. But theirs was a long road to success which included a number of clash victories - UK Cup Clash (World Clash England), World Clash Antigua and many more. They also won a number of face-off competitions against leading sound systems/selectors such as Black Kat, Tony Matterhorn, Ricky Trooper, etc.
